The Echoes from Calvary Quartet was formed in 1970. In 1972, it was incorporated in the State of Illinois as a non-profit religious organization, with the purpose of "Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song."

The Echoes from Calvary perform at numerous events each year, primarily in churches, auditoriums, or outdoor events. Many of these performances are to benefit those with some special need in a community.

The group never sets a fee for its performances, rather leaving the amount of compensation up to the event coordinator as the Lord leads. Our needs have always been provided.

Echo News from August 1976 – A Piece of History – Back in the 1970’s, the Echoes published a monthly newsletter, Echo News, and mailed it to a sizeable mailing list of people who had requested it. Produced before the age of computers, the newsletter was produced using a typewriter to cut a stencil to use on a mimeograph machine. It was quite labor-intensive, but we enjoyed making it available. Echo News eventually ceased to be published, but you can see the August 1976 issue, a little piece of nostalgia.
